Official says S7 Group considers launching low-cost airline

MOSCOW, May 4 (PRIME) -- S7 Group is considering launching a low-cost airline, its representative told PRIME on Tuesday.

"We are closely monitoring the market and are considering all aspects of the launch of a new low-cost airline in terms of viability," the official said.

The official added that S7 Group is in negotiations with jet producers Airbus and Boeing. The airline has no plans to change the business model by turning itself into a low-cost segment player.
